[ Apollo doesn't quite make a habit out of world hopping these days (mostly because she doesn't know how on her own) - but if Vergil's somehow figured out a way to reunite them, well, to her that sounds like a little vacation she isn't going to turn down. It's been a few years since she's seen her old friend though, so when she makes the trip, she doesn't do it alone. With her is, of course, Metalhead, but now the pair is also accompanied by four little ones.

Once they make it through and are standing in a new world thanks to Vergil, it's about two seconds before her two oldest boys are instantly making noise about how super cool this is, and running about giving everything a good poke. The final half of her triplets is a little shyer - standing by her mother and looking just as delighted at her brothers, but nonetheless keeping the hem of Apollo's shirt balled in a tiny fist. The youngest, a boy with an impressively thick head of curly hair for his age, is bundled up in his mother's arms. ]

Vergil! [ It doesn't matter how many children she has with her, it seems, because her smile and her laugh are the same as they ever were. ] Shit, y'did it, you didn't send anyone off course or anythin'!

[ Apollo had spent the first few days in captivity pacing, screaming, and kicking like a caged animal still fresh from the wild. She refused their food at first too, not trusting her captors not to poison her, until finally hunger set in hard enough days later that she gave in and accepted her next meal. She hasn't been poisoned yet, but she's not in the best of shape either - dirty, bruised, rabid - and always on edge.

She hears someone approaching before they come into sight. More than someone, there's two people, perhaps three... another prisoner, perhaps? Whoever approaches, Apollo stays sitting on the floor at the back of her cell. But she only pretends to be passive. She's watching. Listening.

She's ready to fight if she's given the chance. ]

[ Although this little coastal town is not so overtly pirate themed as the one a few hours sailing away, it is still close enough to be frequented by pirates all the same. It's just a much nicer place, perhaps in part because it is more or less protected by two of the local pirate lords. Two local pirates who happen to be a certain married couple, who happen to be here on this nice sunny day stocking up on supplies.

Well, more like supervising as their crew goes about doing all the grunt work. Apollo is on board her ship, somewhere on the deck, presumably, since she's yelling things to Malakai on the dock. Do we have this, where's that, this better be the fucking whisky, that sort of thing. Clerical stuff.

Whether or not it's even pointed out to Vanadi which ship belongs to Apollo, it probably isn't terribly hard for someone familiar with the woman to figure it out on their own anyway. She may be mostly out of sight, but the loudness of her voice carries well, and a dog that is distinctly Metalhead is wandering about on the dock with Malakai, curiously sniffing just about every box being loaded onto the ship. ]

[ The past few days have been easy on Apollo and her crew, mostly because she technically hasn't asked them to even do anything. Most of them are on land drinking and gambling during the little break, brought on by Apollo's decision to keep the Strumpet docked while Marduk is in Ce Monde. She's pretty sure he's hiding in the cargo hold somewhere for whatever fucking reason though, so she's had to spend her time with Malakai, Metalhead, and a couple of her personal companions. She figures he'll come out of hiding eventually.

On this sunny afternoon, she's spending her time with Metalhead. Sitting on the edge of the ship up front, Apollo continually throws a toy as far as she can down the deck, waits for the dog to run and retrieve it, throwing it again once he deposits the slobbered on toy into her hand. ]

[ The Sea Strumpet has been docked in pirate territory for over a week now, even though she was supposed to set sail days ago. But with a missing captain the ship is going nowhere, and with a missing wife, Malakai is beginning to worry.

Along with a few of Apollo's crew members, Malakai is spending the afternoon on board the ship, using her saloon to do a bit of research. The table is covered in maps and scrolls, things that he hopes will help him figure out what places may interest her, and where she may have went. Searching through the immediate area has thus far proven to be a fruitless effort - he will try again later, no doubt, just to be sure, but it's looking like Apollo has for some reason fled Shipwreck Cove. ]

Where have you gone, dove... [ His fingers tap against the wood as he looks over the maps again. It isn't like this is the first time Apollo's run off to do her own thing, but god, she usually tells him where the hell she's going first. ]

[ Apollo's had a busy night plus she's a lazy asshole, so even into the early afternoon she can be found, still asleep, on the couch where she had fallen asleep the night before. She's still completely naked except for her usual overabundance of bracelets and rings and whatever the hell else she wanted to put on yesterday - but, thankfully, she's laying on her stomach and although her back and her legs are clearly bare, she's managed to tangle a blanket around her waist in a such a way that she's not immediately, totally indecent.

Not that that takes away from the fact that it's extremely obvious what she was doing to end up where she currently is. Of course, her clothes thrown all over the place in every which way were probably going to be the first indication of that anyway.

Sorry, Marduk. Welcome home. ]
